ASMUCAFE is a cooperative of female coffee farmers in El Tambo, Cauca, in southwestern Colombia. Their goal as an association is to improve their families' quality of life through coffee farming and to contribute positively to their community by working together and sharing resources, knowledge, and support. An extra price premium is added to this coffee which funds women’s empowerment projects.
They grow Castillo and Colombia coffee varieties, which are picked ripe and double fermented before being depulped, rinsed clean and dried.
Tastes like: dark chocolate + sweet + red fruit
